The 9th Valve World Asia Expo and Conference will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center, September 23-24, 2021. As one of the most well-known valve events all over the world, Valve World Asia has already been widely recognized as an important platform for bridging the China-centered Asian market and International valve arena.
Valve World Asia has been keeping advanced with clients changing demands. Suppliers and end users from home and abroad, as well as all industry players will enjoy the show and communicate with each other in a series of effective ways, such as exhibition, conference, cocktail party, VIP dinner, etc. in two days. And it is worth mentioning that in recent years a couple of essential courses have also been launched and become increasingly popular among the whole industry.
Here is a brief introduction of what we have achieved so far (as of Jan.22, 2021) for the 2021 Valve World Asia show:
Expo: Less than 30% stands available
The 8th Valve World Asia Expo and Conference moved from Suzhou back to Shanghai. On the first day, admissions to the exhibition totaled about more than 4000, quite higher than previous years; and rebooking rate reaches as high as 80%. The two-day event was attended by manufacturers and service providers from all over the world including US, Italy, Germany, Holland, Spain, Japan, Korea, UK, India, Singapore, etc.
The Speakers’ Corner stages, located just beside the lunch area of the expo floor, was a popular spot for visitors who are interested at a variety of hot topics and performed live demonstrations presented by guest speakers from main valve providers and testing institutions including Bonney Forge, Müller Quadax, Henkel Asia Pacific & China Headquarters, Shenzhen Vitop Valve Service, TÜV Rheinland, Wenzhou Rock Valve Inspection and Testing.
Conference: Focusing on Valve Life Cycle and Safe Running
Following the 2017 Valve World Expo & Conference Asia, on the subject of “Protecting our blue sky”, the 2019 Valve World Expo & Conference Asia centered the subject of “Focusing on Valve Life Cycle and Safe Running”. Topics cover standard, raw material, design, control valve, processing & production, sales & procurement, end-user operation, end-user service, maintenance & repairing and future solution.
The conference, running concurrently with the exhibition, began each day with keynote lectures given by representatives from Sabic, TÜV Rheinland, LESER, RFS Compliance Solutions, Fangzheng Valve, Flowserve China, The Dow Chemical, BASF, FLUOR, Neway, IMI Critical Engineering, BMC, Beric Valves, Henkel, Stard Valve, Emerson, Tycon Alloy, Bonney Forge, Garlock, Techniques Group, Chesterton, Hefei General Machinery Research Institute and many others. These delegates were a great mix of Valve Subject Matter Experts, Procurement Managers, Piping Engineers and Materials Specialists, including representatives from influential companies inside valve industry. According to the final report, half of the 2019 conference delegates are from end user companies. We will keep working on increasing this number in 2021.
Fugitive Emissions Course: Trainees growing faster than expected
This year, the number of FE trainee keeps increasing as predicted, however the final number is still beyond expectation. Foster Voelker of Beric Valves and Alexandra MCcarty of RFS Compliance Solutions presented their training courses on the following topics The history of fugitive emissions testing, Terms and definitions, Types of equipment, Implementation of practices, Manufacturing process improvements, Packing Manufacturer’s Fugitive Emission“ Best Available, Control Technology (BACT) and Improvements for the future to attendees from End Users, EPC and high-quality valve producers.
Although it’s still early for Valve World Expo & Conference Asia 2021 opening, preparation work for this professional, influential and inclusive show has already been in full swing. We welcome old and new friends to join us and work together for the next breakthrough in valve market!
