We now represent the major portion of valves and actuators industry in India and have truly become voice of our industry. We believe that with increased strength, IVAMA Association would be able to represent its members more effectively and will play an important role in propelling valves and actuators manufactured in India to a higher level globally.

Need and benefit of such a body become even more critical in the uncertain times of COVID-19, which has deeply impacted the whole value chain of valves and actuators industry. IVAMA Association has been sharing information and good practices with its members, so that any adverse impact is minimized.

In its first year, IVAMA Association has been able to achieve the following:

Conducted three CEOs meet to discuss the issues facing our industry. Conducted four Webinars on topical issues.

Providing monthly market report.

Providing regular information on tenders.

Became a member of BIS to involve our industry at large in the standards activities.

Became a member of FICCI-CMSME and CII-ASCON so that those IVAMA Association members, who are not members of these organizations, also benefit by becoming a part of larger fraternity.

Coordinated with member companies to file RoDTEP applications with EEPC, so that export benefits could continue for our members of our industry after expiry of MEIS scheme.

One of the objectives of IVAMA Association is training and we are happy to share with you about commencement of a 14-session technical webinar covering various aspects of valves and actuators design, selection and technology. It is well received in the industry.

"We now represent the major portion of valves and actuators industry in India and have truly become voice of our industry

Strength of an association is based on the active involvement of its members and though many of us are competitors, we are happy to see the bonding and willingness to help others. We now plan to increase our interaction with end-customers, EPCs, consultants and inspection agencies to address issues of mutual interest. We have got some suggestions in this regard during our last CEOs meet and we invite further suggestions to pursue these in coming period.

Membership is available to valve and actuator manufacturers, supply chain companies and engineering back offices. Interested companies may register for membership by logging on the website (https://ivama.in/member-registration).
