The Advance Conference Programme
On behalf of Chairman Saad Al-Shiha and the Valve World Steering Committee, we are proud to present the Advance Conference Programme for the Valve World Conference 2012.
As you can see topics such as Maintenance & Repair, Packing & Sealing Technologies, Control Valve, Severe Service, Inspection & Testing, for example, will combine presentations from various different sectors in order to make it easier for delegates to choose their favourite session.
On top of the paper sessions, the Valve World Conference will feature six workshops focusing on, amongst others, Global vs. Local, which tackles the challenging topic of end-users searching more and more for local content, Casting Quality & Global Sourcing, which is an almost self-explanatory topic as the challenges of finding good castings are of concern to everyone in the industry.
A highlight is the Chairmen’s Workshop/Valve World listens to you on Thursday morning, where the Chairmen of this year’s and the two previous Valve World Conferences in Asia and the Americas will come together and be ready to answer all the questions you always wanted to ask about the various Valve World Conferences. For this workshop you can send in your questions in advance and by doing so make sure that your questions will surely be proposed to the Chairmen. Please send your questions to email@example.com.
Another highlight awaits conference delegates as well as visitors in Expo Halls 3 and 4. On Tuesday afternoon, there will be the famous Speaker’s Corner with Barrie Kirkman and other End-Users who will support him on the topic of the Total Cost of Valve Ownership and at the same time, there will be our newest feature the Conference Lounge, which will bring conference sessions onto the expo floor and thus make the two events even more connected.
