Valve World Americas 2011 Conference & Expo

The Valve World Expo and Conference Americas 2011 was held on Tuesday June 21 and Wednesday, June 22, 2011, in the Woodlands Waterways Marriott Hotel & Convention Center near Houston, Texas. This conference with an exhibition component was a collaboration between Messe Düsseldorf and KCI Publishing. This event will develop into a the leading event for valves and valve accessories in the North and South American continents.

Following many years of successful conferences in both Europe and Asia, Valve World decided to bring the Valve World Conference to the Americas. The goal of the conference in Houston was to provide an international, yet American, focused platform for the ongoing technical and commercial exchange of information and experiences on the latest technologies, developments and products. In the successful tradition of past Valve World Conferences, the Steering Committee consisted of end-users(Flour, BP, Saudi Aramco, Technip, DuPont Engineering, Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Sheel etc.) associations and a carefully selected group of people from valve suppliers and manufacturers. The Steering Committee assumed responsibility for the content of the conference and determined the programme.

Valve World Expo Americas 2011 brought the world's leading valve companies and the end-users from the process industry together. The main focus of the exhibition was on the large and important valve markets of North and South America. The exhibition was held in conjuction with the Valve World Conference Americas 2011. This combination brought the best of both worlds (valve companies and end-users) together to strengthen relationships, meet existing and new customers, and exchange ideas and opinions face-to-face.
