Everyone with an interest in valves, control valves, actuators and related products will find informative presentations interesting people and engaging discussions during a three day event combining a parallel exhibition and conference which promises to bring together the flow control professionals from around the globe. The clear goal is to optimise the application of valves and actuators in terms of safety, performance, reliability and cost.

"Especially during these economically challenging times, I and the entire Steering Committee believe that the Valve World show is more important than ever. Since the autumn of 2008, many of the industries we are working in - oil & gas, chemical, energy, and power plants - have been undergoing a period of strong consolidation or regulation of their global markets: The economic situation forces whole industrial landscapes to change quite intensively.
I believe that as engineers, we can accomplish this change and work together to help ensure a healthy future for these industries. And the best place for us to accompany this 'preventative maintenance' is, without doubt, the Valve World 2010 Conference. Here we have the opportunity to share personal and professional experiences, to establish cost effective solutions and, very importantly, to promote a healthy flow control sector along the entire supply chain - from valve manufacturer or supplier to end-user.
As I said, the members of the steering conference are working extremely hard to create the framework for another successful conference.
