The Valve World Asia Conference & Exhibition
which was being held on 17 and 18 October last in Shanghai attracted a record
number of attendees. First day around 3500 and a further 1500 visitors on day
2 came to the Shanghai International Convention & Exhibition Center to attend the Conference and/or visit the Exhibition. At this
Expo over 80 companies both from China and the West showcased the latest on
valve technology to an international audience of flow control professionals.
The Conference
Programme offered an overview of end user experiences, the status of the Chinese
valve industry and a wide range of topical issues such as procurement trends,
supply chain management, maintenance and reliability, valve design, applications
and other topics.
It was the second time that Valve World organised an Asian version of its succesfull
Valve World events in Europe. Following on to the overwhelming success in Shanghai
the organisers have decided to go ahead and organise a follow-up Valve World
Asia event in 2009. More than 90% of the current exhibitors have already signed
