When it comes to flow control, ABT is a well-known name. According to Willem Smith, their flow measuring equipment and regulators are used in all kinds of industries, especially the petrochemical industry and in offshore applications. One of their latest products, he explained, is the V-cone MaCro meter to measure pressure differences in pipelines. As the name already implies, it uses a V-shaped cone inside the pipeline to do so. For the future, Mr Smith expects the demand for ultrasonic flow meters to increase.
