22MCC Group develops 6” valve forging

The 22nd China Metallurgical Construction Group (22MCC Group) declared that, the 6” valve forging for flat gate valve was developed successfully. The product will be delivered to the foreign trading customers in Shenyang and exported to the overseas regions, which is the first step taken by 22MCC Group towards the overseas precision forging market.

Clean Marine wins EGCS installation contract

Clean Marine has been selected by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea to supply exhaust gas cleaning systems (EGCS) for two new MR tankers. The two MR2 type tankers are part of a series of five sister vessels to be constructed at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard.

The Clean Marine EGCS will enable the new medium-range tankers, owned and operated by a British oil major, to comply with IMO’s convention for the reduction of sulphur oxides (SOx) in Emission Control Areas (ECAs) to 0.1% by 2015 and global emission level to 0.5% by 2020 without switching to more expensive fuels.

Clean Marine EGCS enables vessels to trade in all waters and ports well within the IMO and local regulations.... Read more...
